auto insurance fraud in USA

When it comes to auto insurance, older women are known to pay higher premiums in comparison to men. Although women are known to drive less aggressively over men and take fewer risks, you have to bear in mind that at the time they reach 70 or 80, their chances of facing accidents when driving are increased. This is one of the major reasons why the elderly women are required to pay for higher premiums. Because of the high figures of auto insurance for older women, a lot of people consider them as more dangerous when they are behind the wheels.
When applying for auto insurance, younger women are quoted with lower premiums as they are less likely to get themselves involved in crashes or any other car accidents. However, this will no longer be the case when they get older. The difference in cost can either be marginal or significant. Still, a difference is noticeable. The high cost can be attributed to the fact that there is actually a huge increase in the number of female drivers at their old age who meet accidents on the road. Most insurers believe that one of the major reasons why older women are now responsible for more car accidents than men is that they often let men handle more of the driving. When it is already their turn to do the driving because their husband or partner has passed away or has been disabled, they are no longer that confident with their abilities, thereby resulting to accidents on the road.
Older women are also more prone to accidents because of the condition of their health. They face problems like the deterioration of their cognitive ability and worsening eyesight after dark. Most of the accidents faced by older women because of these conditions are parking accidents, scraping the sides of their car against a wall, fender benders and issues linked to reversing. As a means of helping older female drivers reduce the amount that they need to pay for monthly premiums, refresher driving courses are introduced to them. Taking this course allows them to gain more confidence in driving. This is definitely a huge help in improving their driving skills and in reducing the amount of their insurance premiums.

Men vs women insurance claims

As you all know, there's always a battle between the sexes about who the best driver is - men or women? But when it comes to insurance policies, it is not about who the best driver is but who is the good one at following traffic rules.
Before we proceed further, many of you might be wondering what an insurance claim is, right? Well, an insurance claim is the actual application for insurance benefits which an insurance company provides. Filing for an insurance claim is done by the policy holder before money can be released by the insurer. This is forwarded so that money can be distributed to the repair shop or to other contracted services.
According to studies, men are more likely to file insurance claims compared to women. The reason behind it is because men have a higher risk in meeting an accident on the road compared to women drivers. This is also the belief of insurance companies and whether you like it or not, this is the reason why men pay higher premiums than women regardless of their clean record.
Unfair? To an insurance company; it is not. Women drivers in general have a higher sense of respect when it comes to traffic rules and regulations. There are more arrests among men for driving under the influence, not wearing seatbelts and speeding. That's not all most women have no use for fancy, flashy cars unlike men who think that the flashier their car is the better.
In general, men ages 25 and below are considered high risk by their insurance companies. They express this belief by placing a higher insurance premium to these men. However, a recent study revealed than men of all ages are equally at risk in meeting highway accidents.

#LookShowWSC - The Competition Entry Post

Blogging is relatively new to me. I started this blog only three years ago. However, fashion is something I have always had an interest in, even at a young age. Dressing up in mum’s clothes, clip-clopping in her shoes, wearing her bags and stealing her make up! We’ve all done it, girls! I could go on all day about how much I love clothes and shopping, which I so often do. Instead, I will take on a different approach by telling you how I took my interest in fashion to a different level and why I should be given the chance to blog at the front row at A/W 11 Look Show. (#LookShowWSC)

During secondary school, I had made my mind up that I wanted to use my interest and turn it in to a career. I often wished I was good at maths so that I could be an accountant, or wish I was smart (or brave) enough to become a doctor, or a nurse so that I could help people. As a fashion student, we often have to justify what we’re at university for and put up with remarks such as “How can you "study" fashion?” – “So, all you do is just cut pictures out from magazines and stick them in a sketchbook??” – No, not true. But I was always realistic with my goals. After all, fashion is one of the biggest global industries. The two things that I had an interest in were learning how businesses work and of course, fashion! So I took business studies and textiles for my A-Levels, then I went to study National Diploma BTEC in Fashion Design at college, which led me to complete a degree in Fashion Marketing at Northumbria University. To me, fashion is more than clothes and shopping. For so long, (8 years to be exact) I have enjoyed learning about how the fashion industry works.

So, why should I be chosen to blog about Look Magazine’s fashion show? From my experiences within both my fashion marketing degree and running my own business, I understand commercial fashion from both side of the fence (as a consumer, and from inside the industry). This has allowed me to have a more in-depth analytical view of how fashion is communicated and marketed to the public. I have an understanding of how to interpretate a concept, and I also understand the technical side of how a garment is made. Also, having a business and from the brand's point of view, I know how to work with bloggers. And as a blogger, I know how to work with, and promote businesses. It is paramount that I show things on my blog posts that are interesting and aesthetically pleasing for everyone to read. And as you have noticed, I am very meticulous with the photography.

If I was given the opportunity to blog for Look Magazine’s fashion show, I would absolutely ensure that I’d do it justice. I'm very dedicated and determined, and I put 100% in to everything I do, I wouldn't settle for anything less than perfect. I always make sure that I engage with other bloggers and that I interact with everyone no matter who they are. I would want to make it feel as if my readers were right there with me!

In addition to that, to show you that I have a “passion for fashion” (my uni tutors would kill me for using that phrase!), below are a few images of my own work to show the skills that I have acquired in the many areas of fashion, in hope to demonstrate that I would be a good candidate!
