Broderie Lace TopShop Dress

Dress TopShop / Jewellery T:S / Nails Rimmel

This is one of my favourite dresses ever! I know so many other girls who have it too, it's one of those dresses where I just had to have it! it was quite pricy for a high street dress, but you know what Topshop are like! I've made sure that I've worn it a lot to justify the cost. The front bodice of the dress is layered with tiers of pretty broderie anglaise lace and the back is v-shaped with a heavy exposed zip which I think is quite a nice contrast.

Recently, I have developed a love-hate relationship with Topshop because it is becoming out of my price range. I don't mind paying extra if the quality is good... but sometimes the quality is just not there with Topshop garments and I find it hard to part with my money! However, I do find it so reliable in terms of fit and length for short petite girls like myself (under 5ft3) and I admit that it is the first shop I go to when I want to buy new clothes just for the sake of knowing that I'll be able to quickly find something in there that fits me properly. ("Liiiike a glove" as Ace Ventura would say)

Talking of Topshop! I have written my 3rd article for Modern Girl's Guide, and it's about S/S Trend Under The Sea. You can click here or the image below if you'd like to check it out. I struggle to come up with blog posts for MGG last month but I think I'm going to stick to writing what I know best; fashion!

Green Dress and Bunny Ring

Dress Madam Rage (gifted) / Bunny Ring T:S / Hat ASOS / Nails 17 Cosmetics and Barry M

This dress is actually sleeveless but I'm wearing it with a cream short sleeved top. The green colour is really pretty and best of all, the fabric has got a stretch to it which makes it really comfy which is good because I'm getting food baby from excess consumption of Dominos recently. Don't think I want to see another pizza again in my life!

Do you all like my new bunny ring? It's only £6.00 :) We've made a big batch of them a few weeks ago! Bunnies are the cutest!

I have joined Pinterest so you can find me by clicking the button below. I'm getting a little bit addicted to it! Let me know if you're on it too and I'll follow you! I have a board called Trendboard and Colour Stories which some of you might find useful.

Dress Dahlia / Hat Monki / Jewellery Temporary:Secretary / Nail Polish Essie Mint Candy Apple

I'm back! Firstly, Happy Easter! Hope you girls are having a fantastic bank holiday weekend! I'm so sorry for taking a break, but after two weeks away, I'm glad to be blogging again. I've actually spent the entire weekend putting photos back up, so much of it went missing and I didn't have time to sort it out until now! Some content is still missing but I will try my best to retrieve it and put everything back to where it was! It is really good to be back! I'll make sure that I spend some time catching up with all of your blogs too. I've added a blog roll so please feel free to let me know if you'd like to swap blog links, just drop me a comment below!

On to the outfit now! It is my 4th month blogging for Dahlia, and this is the dress they have sent me to style for the 4th blog post for them. I can't believe how fast it's going. I still remember receiving the first email from them, I was so excited about it. I'm sad that my time working with them is coming to an end soon!

Broderie Anglaise Cut Out Dress

Dress Rare / Jewellery Temporary:Secretary / Shoes Kurt Geiger

Another little black dress to add to my collection - courtesy of Rare Fashion. The middle part of the dress is actually cut out (as seen here) but to make it wearable for the daytime, I've added a black vest which is why the "cut out" part is not so noticeable. I've gone for a brighter rainbow coloured nails as opposed to the pastel ones I've been wearing.

I just want to give Hello Cotton another shout out. I know some of you have joined since the last time I mentioned them, they are becoming a firm favourite with bloggers as it's such a good source to find new blogs. I do go through all the blog posts via Hello Cotton, and I visit all the ones that are following me too. I'm still on Bloglovin but I've lost my password so I can't log in to follow new blogs. I can't send a reminder to my email either because the email I was registered with has been hacked and hotmail blocked my account! I hate hotmail!! It was so spammy anyway, it was only a matter of time! So sad about it actually because I've had the email since I was 14 years old and I had loads of emails saved on that account, ones from my secondary school days and some from friends who had gone travelling and took time to send me their updates! Really quite mad about it actually! Anyway, here's my Hello Cotton link, and here's where you can find me on Bloglovin.

There hasn't been an Oscar post for ages! Here's a couple of pics to remind you what he looks like! x

In love with Fashion

Jumper inlovewithfashion / Jewellery Temporary:Secretary / Skirt H&M / Sunnies RayBan

So is everyone enjoying the sunshine and brighter days? It's actually quite cold though, isn't it! In this outfit post, I'm wearing my cropped sweater from inlovewithfashion, body con skirt and some "Victorian style" boots! The hat is from a fancy dress shop (it's another hat that doesn't quite fit me! But it was only £2.50 so I decided to keep it). As I've started to take blog photos indoors, the background is a little too plain so I've started to play around with some filters and layer blends to make the photograph more interesting to look at. My outfit posts will still contain the "representational" photographs where there's no fancy effects, but we thought we'd experiment a little bit with a couple of them and try out different styles!

Did you notice something different about the blog? I've got a new header! I was really getting fed up of seeing the old one and I've been wanting to change it but didn't know what I wanted, but I just quickly conjured something up at the weekend and just went with it! Quick and simple!!
