Dahlia Fashion: Margot Dress

It has been about 2-3 weeks ago since I posted a "What I wore" blogpost, I've been so out of the loop with it and sort of lost momentum. However, it's that time of month again when I blog about my new Dahlia dress. This one is the Margot Nautical dress, and it's a really flattering white dress made of lace. The nautical collar is my favourite part, it makes the dress special and unique. My monthly post is up on the Dahlia Girlfriend Blog where I mention that I am attending a food festival this weekend. I forgot how busy and crowded it gets so didn't manage to stay as long as I'd hoped. I got some cakes, a few jars of caramel sauce (to make ice cream fruit salads more interesting), a couple of bottles of cherry and raspberry vinegar (to make vegetable salads more interesting) and also a couple of bars of organic soaps. 

During the week, I was featured on ASOS Fashion Finder - you can read it here. I did the interview in the beginning of March so had forgotten about it until it went live this week so it was a nice surprise. Has anyone joined ASOS Fashion Finder? It really makes you want to buy things!

I have made some subtle changes to the menu bag at the top of my blog (just under the blog header). I've separated fashion posts and beauty posts so it should make things easier to navigate depending on what you'd like to read about. Let me know either way, I really value feedback and often make changes based on what's easiest for everyone.

I probably won't start doing any proper "weekly instagram round up" posts on the blog because I don't lead a very exciting life and I only post silly things on there anyway. I still really love seeing everyone's photos though, especially pet or food photos! My user name on instagram is tempsec, here's just a small snapshot of recent photos:

I'm back! Firstly, Happy Easter! Hope you girls are having a fantastic bank holiday weekend! I'm so sorry for taking a break, but after two weeks away, I'm glad to be blogging again. I've actually spent the entire weekend putting photos back up, so much of it went missing and I didn't have time to sort it out until now! Some content is still missing but I will try my best to retrieve it and put everything back to where it was! It is really good to be back! I'll make sure that I spend some time catching up with all of your blogs too. I've added a blog roll so please feel free to let me know if you'd like to swap blog links, just drop me a comment below!

On to the outfit now! It is my 4th month blogging for Dahlia, and this is the dress they have sent me to style for the 4th blog post for them. I can't believe how fast it's going. I still remember receiving the first email from them, I was so excited about it. I'm sad that my time working with them is coming to an end soon!

Dahlia Fashion: Beatrice Dress

It feels like I haven't done an outfit post in ages! The weather is to blame for that! Whilst I had mustered the energy to go outside in the cold yesterday, I decided to get a couple of outfits photographed so that I can go back in to hibernation until the snow and ice melts away!

This is my third month blogging for Dahlia's blog, and I am wearing their Beatrice dress here which is a gorgeous shade of green with lovely neckline detailing. I will be wearing it a lot more when the weather improves. The shoes I'm wearing here are from Runway Shoes and they are a black velvety T-Bar platform shoes. I love platforms and I love chunky heels, such a good combo! If you've never been on Runway Shoes before, you'll be amazed by the choices of shoes they have! So many shoes in all kinds of colours at such good prices too. I'm not brave enough to go for garish colours but I will eventually treat myself to a pair of colourful heels at some point! I just think it's safer to go for black as they go with everything! 

Dahlia Fashion: Ann-Marie Dress

A change of scenery today. I'm wearing the Ann-Marie dress from Dahlia, the dress doesn't actually come with a collar, this is the same white top as I'm wearing in the previous post. My 2nd blog post for Dahlia is now on the website so please pop over to their blog and check it out when you have a spare moment!

Another thing to let you all know is that one of you who are reading the blog now may receive an email from The Fairy Hobmother soon! The Fairy HobMother is from a website called Appliances Online. She stopped by my blog and offered me £50 voucher to spend on Amazon. The only catch is that I have to mention this link for Washing Machines. Those who are unfamiliar with The Fairy HobMother will find it very random. I guess this is just like an advertised link for an appliance company and I wouldn't normally do this.... BUT she will be reading the comments on this blog post and has promised to pay a visit to one of your blogs and grant you a wish, this may be vouchers which I think is nice as you can treat yourself to something to beat the January blues!
