T-Shirt and Grey Blazer Fashion Union / Hat Monki / Cardi Topshop (old)

My second month guest blogging for Fashion Union's Blog - here's the link to the post. There has been sight delay which is entirely my fault for completely losing track of time! Really can't believe it's mid April!

For my next Fashion Union blog post, I chose an outfit of T-Shirt and jeans with a grey blazer. I chose a dress last time, so I thought I'd go for "seperates" this time and challenge myself to see if I've chosen items that would go together as an outfit. The T-Shirt is lovely, I like them baggy so it is the perfect type of fit for me. I will blog about the blazer in a separate blog post because I don't want to overload the post with so many photos. I like to stick to a maximum of 6 images per post if I can (unless something has a lot of details). I also chose one of their coloured skinny jeans to complete the outfit, as I loved them ever since I saw them on their Facebook page and if you're in to the trend of coloured skinny jeans, then Fashion Union have a wide range of them at £20-£25 (bargain!). Unfortunately, they didn't fit my short legs but I am one of those people who find it difficult to find the perfect pair, which is why I only own 2 pairs of jeans. Which brand is your favourite to go to for jeans? And have you bought yourself a pair of coloured jeans this season?

Broderie Lace TopShop Dress

Dress TopShop / Jewellery T:S / Nails Rimmel

This is one of my favourite dresses ever! I know so many other girls who have it too, it's one of those dresses where I just had to have it! it was quite pricy for a high street dress, but you know what Topshop are like! I've made sure that I've worn it a lot to justify the cost. The front bodice of the dress is layered with tiers of pretty broderie anglaise lace and the back is v-shaped with a heavy exposed zip which I think is quite a nice contrast.

Recently, I have developed a love-hate relationship with Topshop because it is becoming out of my price range. I don't mind paying extra if the quality is good... but sometimes the quality is just not there with Topshop garments and I find it hard to part with my money! However, I do find it so reliable in terms of fit and length for short petite girls like myself (under 5ft3) and I admit that it is the first shop I go to when I want to buy new clothes just for the sake of knowing that I'll be able to quickly find something in there that fits me properly. ("Liiiike a glove" as Ace Ventura would say)

Talking of Topshop! I have written my 3rd article for Modern Girl's Guide, and it's about S/S Trend Under The Sea. You can click here or the image below if you'd like to check it out. I struggle to come up with blog posts for MGG last month but I think I'm going to stick to writing what I know best; fashion!

Nail Art: Pandas and Paws

Photobucket
Photobucket

I posted these photos on my tumblr pages months ago but I have deleted my tumblr now and I just remembered I never got round to blogging these panda nail art. I got help with painting these little pandas, as I have mentioned before, I'm not very good with nail art. I'm ok when it comes to painting with my writing hand, but how do people do the other hand?! Lets just say I go a bit squiggly, and uncontrollably colour outside the lines!! I can't remember how we painted these but we didn't have proper nail art tools at the time so it was probably done with a bobby pin!

I need some practising so I can get better and maybe blog some of my own tutorials... (not likely, because I just can't paint the other hand!!!) but anyway, I've been pinning a few nail art inspiration on Pinterest. I would love to know where you all get nail art inspiration from and which is your favourite blog/vlogs to go to for nail tutorials? I really like Cupcake's Clothes nail posts at the moment!
